Did a bit of work tonight on Raisin... actually, i pretty much only glazed his skin, and painted his tabard white for some color-lovin' as soon as i figure out what color to paint it.... torn between orange and brown (wanted to avoid as much brown as possible on this army)

I spent a few hours painting today, and nearly completed Raisin, my Dire Troll Mauler. He's not finished in the sense that i'd like to try and glaze him to add a tint to his skin, since i think he's too ... pinkish. I wanted a reddish highlight, but no matter how much red i was adding, there was no show...

Did some more work on the Mauler the last few days. First thing i did was paint the rock a light gray, to give me a rough idea of how the color would work together. I then started painting some shadow on the models.

Right now, he has no highlight whatsoever (except the gum), so the color is far darker than i'm expecting it to be at the end...

So i started laying some paint on my trollbloods between games night and table work. It's basically just to see how... weird this will all look in the end.

When i told my friend my idea, he said that he didnt think much people would get it... so i have a few idea that could help people see the theme behind this army... but those are secrets!

Runts Trollbloods

I recently purchased my friend's old trollblood army very cheaply. The goal is pretty simple ; loads of bright color (that i sadly never got to use on my WHFB or W40k army) like orange, blue and yellow. I'm thinking about having no skin color omogeneity in the army ; some will be blue, some will be orange, some will be red...
