For 2012's summer, our local store is organizing a Tale of Painter for both Fantasy and 40k. With my Ogres pretty much completed, and my Orcs on an un-rushable hiatus, i decided to dust off my Dark Eldar and finally get ready for 40k.
Basically, the Tale of Painter is about painting as much in a category that we wants ;
April : Hero/Lord or HQ
May and June : Core or Troop
July : Special/Rare or Elite/Fast Attacks/Heavy Support
I've been painting and playing Fantasy for the past 3 years, spending much time and money into a hobby that very few people really understand. This blog is following my steps into the world of Game Workshop's Fantasy and 40k.

On the Table for the remaining of the Year
Waaagh! A Savage and Chariot themed Orc Army.
I was reading a while ago about someonep playing Dark Elf with 5-6 chariot and was succesful. I figured, if a stinky pointy ears guy riding geckos, there's no reason Orcs riding all might Boar couldnt do it better.
So this is why i decided to try it out, and just see how successful this can be. There's obviously alot of limitation, since Chariots are special, and you can only take 3 in a 2500 pts army.But there's alot more in the book that can do similar role.
