In the past few days, i kind of lost motivation to paint 3-4 hours each night, so it was a real struggle to get anything done. But i still managed to finish another piece, the Chimera.
I've been painting and playing Fantasy for the past 3 years, spending much time and money into a hobby that very few people really understand. This blog is following my steps into the world of Game Workshop's Fantasy and 40k.

The Unsinkables WIP #24 : Chariot, Warshrine and Chaos Lord advancement.
Despite the lack of update, i painted, quite alot actually. I'm almost done with another part of my army, with very little left to do before calling them done (i actually want them done for the weekend, so i can start on the next things).
So.... pictures!

The Unsinkables WIP #23 : WoC and Mage completely done!
It took a while, and struggle alot with choices, but they are finally done, all 30 warriors are completely done, and ready for play!
Of course, they still have small details to finish, like horn (still undecided, thinking about glossy black), and touch up on the cloak, but its things that can wait, and i'm moving on to the rest of the army, so for now... DONE!

The Unsinkables WIP #22 : Devil's in the details
An old saying about details ; they sucks.
I spent maybe 10+ hours doing details on the Warriors, and i still feel like i have tons left to do.... but it's advancing, and my mage is nearly done!
But before my picture galore, let me tell you about my first battle with my warriors.

The Unsinkables WIP #21 : WoC Armor Done, and Cape underway.
I feel like in trainspotting these days, except instead of dreaming of clean bathroom, i dream of going to bed early, and sleeping late.
Another night of painting until the wee hours last night allowed me to be almost done with the Warriors, with the armor, some details and most of the cloak done. I think i could manage to finish them this weekend if i get to spend enough time on them.

Rumor of 9th edition, and the panics.

The Unsinkables WIP #20 : WoC Armor Basecoated!
Quite frankly, i had no intention to show this stage, because its not really a captivating one. But after spending 6 hours doing it, i though it deserved a post.
The Unsinkables WIP #19 : WoC Skin Done!
After a few hours last night, i completed the skin on all my 30 Warrior of Chaos.

The Unsinkables WIP #18 : WoC Skin progress
30 Warrior of Chaos. 30 converted Warrior of Chaos. And i gave myself 1 week to paint their skin... I hate myself sometimes.
But there's progress! I'd call the skin about 75% done, with only a purple wash left, some final highlight, and then the pustule wash works. These stages doesn't really require alot of effort, but they take times, since i need to wait for washes to be completely dry before going for the next one. For this reason, I also primed my mage, so you should see some update on him in the next few days.
